Some mistakes are too fun to make only once...

What's your favourite mistake? If you had a chance to make it again, would you take it?

Favorite mistake? Probably falling in love with Claire. Would I do it again? Not knowing what I know now I wouldn’t. In another time and at another place… maybe.

I try not to look back. I try to save energy for looking ahead. Sometimes I am too miserable and think things way too much. So, that's one mistake: I wish I didn't beat my brain too much about the decisions that I take. But then, even if I consider it a mistake, I do it again and again and again and again and again.

Experience is what ppl name their mistakes ;)

I just love sheryl crows song, favoruite mistake..

I dont like looking back and widner either, cuz everything I've been through has made me the person i am today.. but if I have to chose one, it has to be love simply because:

"Some risks are worth taking,
some mistakes are worth making"

This was actually harder to answer than I thought it would be.

The obvious one is my last relationship, it sure was a mistake with that 20/20 hindsight kicking in but I would still do it again for all the good bits.

The other one is more recent, sneaking a kiss with someone I shouldn't have. So wrong but so good that I would have to do it again if the opportunity presented.

i love sheryl, especially in the "all i want to do" video (those lips... hmmmmm). anyways, recently i ran into someone and said something that definitely came back to haunt me. i wouldn't change a thing though because today all the tension and destructive potential was alleviated due to that simple yet painful situation. more good came out of this partial bad. like they say, everything happens for a reason.

I have so many of these I can't even begin to know where to start.

Although to me "favorite" and "mistake" appear to be mutually exclusive.

I suppose that while I enjoyed the time I was married to her, I hate the hurt of her having walked out.

I wish I hadn't told that girl Andrea who I was before she had a chance to let her wild interest get the best of her.

I wish I'd taken the "blue pill" sometimes, too.

hmmmm.... then there's the fact that I like writing. A lot. But the one thing with which I seem to have been gifted is the ability to write really good porn. What the hell's up with that? Although if I ever decide to try to make a living at it, I'd have a really good psuedonym: Wankin Hiscox.

I can just see it now: In bookstores today! She Came One Night by Wankin Hiscox. Pick up your copy today!

I wish I hadn't been standing at a bus stop alone when I was 13 years old. It was dark and bad things happen in the dark.

My favourite mistake? Falling in lust with my friend's older married brother. It might have been a mistake, but I'd do it over and over again....still do if we get the chance.

My favorite mistake?

Ecstasy.

I know how Adam and Eve must have felt, after they'd eaten the apple, but couldn't go back.

My favourite mistake ?

Calling the manager (in the best job I EVER had) a cunt and threatening to stick one on him after I'd got pissed at a works party.

To this day I don't know why it happened. I think I'd finally achieved total success and was scared of it at a subconscious level - I deliberately sabotaged it whilst drunk. It has cost me literally hundereds of thousands of pounds (probably millions in dollars) not to mention loss of status and excellent working conditions.

Why is it my favourite mistake ? The only way for me to deal with it is to make it into my funniest anecdote which I now reel off to perfection - it's the only way to cope with such a personal and self-inflicted disaster or else I'd go absolutely loopy.

Either I live right or I live wrong, I'm not sure which it is -- I don't have too many of the "hurts so good" mistakes.

I'm married, but not above flirting, but I'd never cross the line.

When I hear that song there's a part of me that wishes I could be someone else's favorite mistake! But I'm the reliable nice guy, but it sounds like it would be fun to be the mistake.

My favorite mistake involved a poker game in which I called a huge bet, believing I had a straight. Turns out, I only had ace-high. That was enough to win the hand. Everybody thought I read my opponent's hand perfectly.

Nope, just drunk and lucky!

The 20 year-old I dated when I was 30. She caused a few of my friends to step away for awhile because she was less than tolerant of other people and just too southern, but man...after dark was worth it.

Getting married too young (at 23 years old).

The PK and I have had some really, REALLY terrific times...wild, funny, exciting, scary, sobering, drunk, high, etc.

Would I marry him again?

Would I?

Would I?

?

All I'll say is, I should've been older. Like 25...or 26. Hell, maybe even 30.

Seriously.

Hrmmm, I'd have to say taking drugs. Reckless and stupid and thankfully I live to tell the tale, but damn I had some fun.

I've been by a couple of times and I can't think of one that I regret, or that I'd do again... I'll sleep on it and get back to you!

Getting married to the wrong woman. Yes I would make it again, but with a different woman

Nick - but in that moment, you wouldn't change a thing.

Itelli - I do that too. I over think everything. This time, I won't. I'll take it on a visceral level.

Crashie - a mistake is when you don't take the experience to heart.

Josh - If you answer it properly, it will always be a hard question to answer. Thanks for sharing.

Raffi - sounds like you had some serious balls to put yourself in that situation to begin with.

Effortless - she came by wankin hiscox? Jeez. He'd have to have a well trained 'cox to do that!

Natalia - so long as you enjoyed them all!

SZJ - I wish that one too.

Oestre - falling in lust is such a fun mistake. That was the basis of this post.

Ingsoc - would you do it again?

EK - that sounds like a classic. Funny, but I can jsut imagine the tension in the people there at the time. I guess everypne would have been busily studying their toes.

Y- then I put that video up there just for you.

Keshi - well, I guess no regrets is as close as you can get.

JP - you haven't lived until you've had 'hurts soo good'.

Cazzie - still waiting.

Bug - that's a winning mistake for sure!

T - that age gap is creepy. But if she wasn't bothere by it, I say take her for all she's worth!

Stacy - its amazing the difference a few short years can make.

Betty - It seems alot of favourite mistakes are relationships.

Steph - the arrogance of youth. You think you can get away with such shit. Turns out you really can.

Keshi - thanks.

Smack - its a good thing that nothing springs to mind. Though you deserve to enjoy a few of your mistakes.

George - but did you know at the time she was the wrong one for you?
