Hancock.

I can't beleive that Hancock got such crappy reviews. I fucking LOVED it. I think it might be the best movie I've seen all year. Funny, action, great effects and a twist with a side of realistic romance and moon graffiti-ing.

Did I mention it was funny?

I think that's the complete movie meal right there. I was hanging out to see it from the moment I saw the first preview. Last night being the premiere I went to see it. And I will have to see it again.

Seriously funny flick. As far as the reviews and awards go... the critics just loved I Am Legend.

Every movie I love, the critics hate, so now when I read reviews, I look for the ones that get panned because guaranteed I'll love them.

I've been looking forward to seeing Hancock- this is the first review I've seen- so I'm glad it was a good one!

In my opinion, critical reviews have absolutely no bearing on how good a film actually is, they are usually written to show how superior a critic thinks they are.

I'm loving the look of Hancock and will be going to see it, and fuck what the critics say, I think the veiwing public are more than capable of making up their own minds.

I'm so glad you wrote that, phish!
I was so disappointed by the reviews I'd read, even from reviewers that I tend to 'trust.' because the previews make it look like such a great flick.

It's on my list of things to see. Along with "The Incredible Hulk"... *sigh*

Thanks---I'd rather trust your taste than the "art" critics---I really want to see everything that they pan

Well, I hope that Will Smith being a Scientologist now won't interfere with his ability to make good movies.

Steph - it just means the critics have failed.

Princess - Enjoy it.

Kez - I've never known you to be one to follow popular opinion.

Scorpy - they'll love it almost as much as you. I say almost, because they're too young to understand the value of gratuitous boobie shots.

MissE - I'm so not into seeing the incredible hulk.

Clyde - yay! you trust me!

Josh - NOOOOO! He's a scientologist?

Yes, unfortunately.

But it's always fun to discuss this movie with friends; for example, when a group of us were getting together to go see it, I waited until we were near a bunch of people and yelled out "So, how long is Hancock?"
