Is this the GREATEST concert EVAH?!?

If I had to relose my concert virginity all over again I'd so pick this one.

Matchbox Twenty AND Thirsty Merc!

I invited a serial concert goer to see it, she baulked at the price. Then I told her Thirsty Merc were supporting, and her eyes just glazed over and she smiled. A small 'ooooh' may have escaped her lips.

So I couldn't find anyone to go with. I was determined to go. By myself, if necessary. But concerts are so much funner when you're there with someone. So I'm going with my sister. I'm going to fly down to Melbourne for the event in April. Depending on how much time I get off, I may travel out to the country to see my family and friends.

So. If anybody wants to meet up when I'm down in April, zip me an email and I might just make your wish come true!

Then taking more time off work to go see Michael Buble in May, in Canberra.

And, as an aside. I WANT KFC!!! But I've gone down to 86kg. I was aiming to be 80 by New Year, which I doubt I can make. But KFC so isn't going to help the situation, so I'll eat carrots instead.

WoW, Phish. Good on you, that is a great effort.

I love both those bands as well, and I am very excited you are coming to canberra and I can meet you in person. yay!

I LOVE Rob Thomas. He's from my neck of the woods, isn't he?

I'm still pretty much a concert virgin and I hate it. About the only concert I want to see is Evanescence and, when they came to town, The PK wanted to go with me. But knowing he doesn't even CARE for the band (he a country music fan himself), I opted not to go at all. Why bother? I knew he'd hate it and that would just make it a horrible experience for me.

Hope you have a good time! :)

Mine was...
Depeche Mode. You probably already knew that.

Guess what? Seems David's going to live here half the week now.
Jesus, this is getting one crowded flat...

Yep, concerts are better if you can share the experience. Don't know Thirsty Merc

I think mine was the Angels, and then when I got to Adelaide, Matchbox 20. :)

Betty - me too! Excitement much?

Stacy - and he looks soooo good in a pair of spray on jeans :)

Ingsoc - that sounds like a complaint, but I know better.

Prof - Thanks. I've worked damn hard for it.

Grunt - they're an Aussie band.

Smack - who are the Angels?

Rob Thomas rocks...he cried at his wedding. I usually don't like to see guys cry at their own wedding but he looked so in love...I thought it looked charming on him

My brother in law cried at my sisters wedding with him...he looked like the BIG PUSSY that he truly was.

ciao babes...just sharing.

I so love matchbox 20 I saw them once in a very small nightclub. There were maybe 50 people there if that many. It was so wonderful. Rob Thomas is so hot!
